Lunchtime at school is a time for hanging out with friends, getting caught up with work, and eating a healthy, nutritious meal. It can be hard or even expensive to get a healthy meal these days. That’s why we can rely on the school to provide us with nutritious meals for little to no cost.

The cafeteria staff’s main priority is to provide the students with a healthy meal that also tastes great.

They have experimented with different foods over the years. Whatever students like has stayed on the menu. It can be hard to satisfy students because most are used to unhealthy, convenient, and quick meals like fast food.

If this generation continues on this path, our parents might outlive us. If we start to eat better, it can pave the way to a healthier America. This is why Michelle Obama championed the Hunger-free Kids Act which helped the USDA make the first major changes in school meals in 15 years. This will help raise a healthier generation of children.
