Playing sports is a great way to reduce and release stress levels and increasing feelings of physical and mental well-being. Many people use the excuse, “I am too busy to be getting into a sport or to exercise.” Walking around the block can be good, because being engaged in an activity has stress- relieving benefits.

Lots of people are used to a normal routine, without exercising or playing a sport.  It’s good to begin exercising as soon as possible to enhance the ability to cope with stress. If a person has lots of anger issues, sports and regular exercise provides physical and mental stress relief. “Exercise can help depression and anxiety and improve sleeping,” says Ashley Miller, an author for www.HealthyLiving.com.

Everybody has Endorphins in their body, which are classified as the happy hormones. Miller also writes, “Human beings were designed to move, NOT sit on chairs all day.”

A couple of really good exercise tips is to simply do something that you love and don’t run before you can walk. Start off slow, even if it is just walking up and down the stairs.  It can be hard for people to get into a good exercise routine, but the benefits are getting to a healthier and stress free life.
