Every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch there is a group of students, from Bijou, who attend Anime Club. Anime Club is for those who enjoy watching and discussing different types of anime. Anime is a Japanese show kind of like a cartoon using Japanese art styles.

There are three different types of anime: Raw, where the spoken language is Japanese without sub titles; Subbed, Japanese voices with English sub titles; and Dubbed, where English is voiced. The Anime Club at Bijou watches dubbed anime.

On Thursdays, the club watches Blue Exorcist, an anime about a boy who discovers he is the son of Satan, who then fights demons.  On Tuesdays, they watch Angel Beats, an anime telling the story of a group of kids fighting in the afterlife.

Students are welcomed to join no matter how many animes they’ve seen. The members of the club include people who are watching their first anime to members who have seen over 40 animes.
